As far as possible the orthotics are made to the size of the client's feet and so fit in the individual's regular shoes. However, since shoes sizes do vary, it may be necessary to trim one or both of the orthotics to help achieve a better fit in a particular pair of shoes. If the pads do need to be shortened it is important that they are trimmed from the toe only. DO NOT trim the heel.
